The appearance of the coating obtained by this process is similar to that of chromium, with corrosion resistance and brightness comparable to that of chromium. The deep plating ability of the coating is far superior to that of standard chromium plating, and the energy consumption is significantly lower than that of chromium plating. The biggest advantage is that it can be used for routine roll plating of small parts, which improves production efficiency. For light industrial products with no special hardness requirements, using this process to replace chromium plating can achieve significant economic benefits. The hardness of the coating obtained by the process is 200-220 HV.
