SLOTOLOY ZN 320 is a weakly acidic zinc-nickel alloy bath, free of ammonium and boric acid, for bright zinc-nickel alloys with a nickel content of 12 - 15 %. SLOTOLOY ZN 320 is suitable for barrel and rack plating (especially for die castings). The metal content of the bath is controlled by the ratio of zinc and nickel anodes. The separation of the anodes means that different rectifiers are used to control the different anodes. SLOTOLOY ZN 320 electrolytes give stable alloy deposits over a wide range of current densities. High corrosion resistance is achieved by passivating the layers with trivalent chromium natural, blue and black, respectively, and better salt spray results can be achieved by using our SLOTOFIN range of sealers. The information in this datasheet quoting the opening and refill quantities is based on laboratory and practical experience. In actual production, adjustments should be made according to the size and shape of the workpieces to be plated in the plating plant.
