SLOTOTIN 70 Bright Tin Plating is a sulphate based electrolyte bright tin plating process for roll and rack plating. Bright and perfect coatings are obtained at low current densities and are suitable for the plating of complex workpieces.SLOTOTIN 70 Bright Tin Plating maintains good solderability even after baking tests (e.g. 155°C, 16 hours), and the low temperature operation is an important factor in maintaining good solderability. Tetravalent tin in the plating solution is the main cause of turbidity in the electrolyte, and the addition of SLOTOTIN 70 can effectively retard the formation of tetravalent tin.
